Refund Policy

The $3,997 payment for the Founding 100 pilot is a pre-Agreement payment called the Founding 100 Interim Reservation Payment, or “Reservation Payment.” It reserves the approved applicant’s place in the pilot and provisional Founding Doula Number.

• The Reservation Payment reserves the approved applicant’s place in the pilot and provisional Founding Doula Number.
• It is eligible for a refund if BVV receives a complete written refund request before the participant signs the Founding Doula Agreement during FOUNDATION™ onboarding.
• An eligible refund equals the Reservation Payment less actual nonrefundable third-party payment-processing or financing fees charged to BVV and not returned by the applicable payment provider.
• BVV does not charge an additional administrative, cancellation, or refund-processing fee.
• BVV will submit the eligible refund to the original payment method within 21 calendar days after receiving a complete written request.
• The participant’s bank, Stripe, Klarna, Afterpay, or another payment provider may require additional time to make the funds available after BVV submits the refund.
• The pre-Agreement refund period ends when the participant signs the Founding Doula Agreement.
• After signing, applicable refund, withdrawal, cancellation, cohort-change, and termination terms are governed by the signed Agreement.

The Reservation Payment reserves the approved applicant’s place in the pilot and provisional Founding Doula Number while the enrollment process is completed.

Before submitting the Reservation Payment, you will receive and acknowledge the Interim Reservation Notice.

Submitting the Reservation Payment does not, by itself, complete enrollment. Enrollment is confirmed after all required enrollment steps are completed and the Founding Doula Agreement is signed during FOUNDATION™ onboarding.

Your request must include:

• Your full name
• Your enrollment email address
• The date of your payment
• A clear statement that you are requesting a refund of your Reservation Payment

Do not send payment-card numbers, bank-account information, or other sensitive financial information by email.

An eligible refund will equal the Reservation Payment less any actual nonrefundable third-party payment-processing or financing fees charged to BVV and not returned by Stripe, Klarna, Afterpay, or another applicable payment provider.

BVV does not charge an additional administrative, cancellation, or refund-processing fee.

BVV will provide an itemized calculation showing:

• The original Reservation Payment
• Each actual nonrefundable third-party fee deducted
• The resulting net refund amount

BVV will submit an eligible refund to the original payment method within 21 calendar days after receiving the complete written request.

The participant’s bank, Stripe, Klarna, Afterpay, or another payment provider may require additional time to make the funds available after BVV submits the refund.

Full access to the TCDD curriculum, BVV Professional Integration Method™, frameworks, assessments, templates, professional tools, Learning Commons resources, and other proprietary program materials begins only after the Founding Doula Agreement is signed.

The Agreement explains the participant’s permitted use of these materials and protects both BVV’s intellectual property and the participant’s original work.

Participants do not receive ownership of BVV’s curriculum, methods, frameworks, templates, technology, or other proprietary materials. Participants retain ownership of the original professional content they create, subject to the terms of the signed Agreement.

The pre-Agreement refund period ends when the participant signs the Founding Doula Agreement.

Once the Founding Doula Agreement has been signed, refund, withdrawal, cancellation, termination, and deferral rights are governed by that Agreement.

Participants should carefully review the Founding Doula Agreement and submit any questions before signing.

Nothing in this general Refund Policy changes or replaces the terms of a signed Founding Doula Agreement. If this policy and a signed Agreement directly conflict, the signed Agreement governs to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Eligible customers may be offered financing through Klarna or Afterpay at checkout. Availability, approval, payment schedules, fees, and financing terms are determined by the applicable provider.

If the Reservation Payment was financed, an eligible refund will be submitted through the original payment method, less any financing or payment-processing fees actually charged to BVV and not returned by the provider.

Klarna or Afterpay may require additional time to adjust the participant’s financing balance or payment schedule. Participants should continue following their financing agreements until the provider confirms that the refund or account adjustment has been completed.

Each Founding Group requires the published minimum enrollment to begin as scheduled.

If a group does not meet that minimum, BVV may defer the group and offer enrolled participants transfer to the next available Founding Group without penalty, consistent with the applicable enrollment documents and Founding Doula Agreement.

Any refund or cancellation rights connected to a cohort change or deferral are governed by the participant’s enrollment status and applicable signed documents.

Returns and exchanges do not apply because The Confident Death Doula™ is a professional-development program and not a physical product.
